Policies
Membership and Registration Fees
New students must pay a $40 registration fee when enrolling in a class. New students enrolling for summer classes get a discounted registration fee of only $20. Current students are required to renew the membership fee of $40 per year by September 1st each year. The membership fee will be deducted by August 31st for students on autopay.
Cancellation/Drop Policy
Classes and enrollment continue year-round. An Acrobatic Academy cancellation / drop form is required to discontinue class. Submit the drop form by the first day of the month. The effective date will be the last class of the month in which the drop is received. Any drop received after the 10th of the month will be effective at the end of the next month. The account will be billed for all classes up to and including the drop notices effective date. Drop forums are located at our office and may be completed in person, or by email. A verbal drop notice will not be accepted. To re-enroll students must renew the registration fee and the first month's class fee.
Class fees are due on the 1st of the month. Members may pay by check, cash, or credit card (Visa, Discover, and Mastercard only). Any payment received after the 10th of any month will be assessed a per month $5.00 late fee. Automatic withdrawal is available for your convenience. Automatic withdrawal forms are due by the 25th of each month in order to start the following month.
Payments
Class Attire
Gymnasts are encouraged to wear leotards. Male gymnasts and ninja warrior students wear athletic shorts and fitted T-shirts. No jewelry should be worn, and hair must be pulled back. Taekwondo students are required to wear the dobok and protective gear while sparring. Leotards and doboks are available for purchase at our pro-shop.
Absences & Make-Up Classes
If your child is absent from class, make-up classes are allowed but not required. One make-up class per month is allowed September through May for student absences. If absences are accrued throughout the year, multiple make-up classes per month are allowed June through August. Make-up classes do not need to be scheduled ahead of time. Students must check in at the front desk upon arrival for a make-up class. The deadline for making up missed classes is August 31st of each year. Students must be actively enrolled in the class in order to make up.
Holiday Closings
Acrobatic Academy is closed for major holidays including spring break, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas through New Year's Day. To view our full list of closings and check to see if your class can be made up, see our calendar linked below.
Inclement Weather
We adhere to USD 259's closures when cancelling classes due to ice/snow. If the Wichita Public Schools are closed during the day, due to snow/ice conditions, then we will be closed for gymnastics, dance, cheer, ninja warrior, and Basic Beginnings classes. Fit Physique will remain open unless conditions are extreme.
